Esko is fifteen miles from Duluth and it is a community, not a subdivision. Families move here for the school and then stay for thirty years, and that shows up in the houses: well kept, added onto, and worth maintaining. That is our favorite kind of customer.

The town grew out of Finnish farms and still carries the name of Alex Esko, whose store at the corner gave the place its name back in 1935. Ninety years later that corner is still the middle of town. We work Esko on the same run as Cloquet and Carlton, so if a neighbor wants in, we will do the street.
